Our Dentist Completed An Impressive Education

When our dentist was born, nobody in his family had ever gone beyond high school. In an impressive first, Dr. Casagrande received his bachelor's degree from Carroll College in 1977 and then earned his dental degree from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry. At both of these institutions, he completed traditionally four-year programs in just three years.

While in dental school, the head of the prosthodontics department noticed his passion and acumen for the field. At the department head’s urging, Dr. Casagrande went on to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and graduated in 1982 with his master's degree in prosthodontics. While at UNC, he had the good fortune of watching Michael Jordan play basketball and has been a Tar Heels fan ever since.

Dr. Casagrande was born and raised in Butte, MT. His academic accomplishments earned him offers to practice in California and North Carolina, but he chose to return home to provide life-changing prosthodontic care to his fellow Montanans. Dr. Casagrande opened his practice in Billings in 1982. Patients travel from as far as Texas, Alaska, and Minnesota to visit Dr. Casagrande.
