My name is Darrin Johnson, and I'm Senior VP of Sales for a global wellness company.
So my first visit with Dr. Casagrande happened in Idaho Falls, Idaho and it was in my periodontist's office where Dr. Casagrande came down from Billings, Montana to be part of this initial consult. And the reason why that he was part of this or he agreed to visit with me is that I was essentially out of options. I was out of choices. My entire life I had been dealing with periodontal disease, which was not just, you know, gum recession or anything like that. It was a complete erosion of bone on my upper jaw and lower jaw. I was thrilled to hear that there was a potential solution. And that began the journey with Dr. Casagrande.
So the course of therapy that Dr. Casagrande recommended to me was the ProMax bridge for my upper and lower. And I decided to pursue that. In order to make that happen, they needed to, because of my bone loss, they need to do what they call zygomatic implants. And I went to Portland, Oregon for this where they inserted four zygomatic implants in my upper zygomatic bone all the way down to my uppers. And then they did the same thing down, for my lower jaw, with traditional implants.
From the very beginning initial consult with Dr. Casagrande to when we were completely done, was a little over two years. Exactly as Dr. Casagrande said. And a significant investment. But I would do it all over again.
My advice, if you're thinking about doing it, is take the first step. It is not a cost. It is an investment in your future. If you do not have the ability to have functional teeth to do your job and do your work. If you find yourself not smiling as much and you're changing your life because of what's happening in your jaw and your teeth, you're selling yourself short. Make the investment in the rest of your life. You'll never regret it. Especially working with Dr. Casagrande's entire team.
